Halcones Precious Metals is a publicly traded Canadian exploration company focused on gold, silver and copper exploration. Halcones’ main project is the Carachapampa Project which comprises twelve contiguous mining concessions (pedimentos) with a total area of 2,868 hectares. The irregularly shaped block of concessions extends for approximately 8 km in an East-West direction and approximately 7 km in a North-South direction.
Halcones’ main project is adjacent to the 1.9M oz AuEq Nueva Esperanza project which hosts the same rock alteration and structures extending into the Carachapampa project.
The Carachapampa project has excellent year-round access and substantial infrastructure due to numerous mine in the region. This includes:
